EXTERNAL STRENGTHENING
Global research and collaboration, integrated through one Clarwyn-owned architecture.
Clarwyn uses external relationships only where they serve a defined school outcome and can be translated into adult practice, learner experience and visible evidence. Making Caring Common strengthens care and trusted relationships. The Deeper Learning Alliance strengthens the Praxis, teacher learning and classroom implementation.

RESEARCH & PRACTICE RELATIONSHIPS
Two relationships. One Clarwyn architecture

Care, belonging & trusted relationships
In partnership with Making Caring Common, a project of the Harvard Graduate School of Education, through the Caring Schools Network.
Making Caring Common strengthens Caring Community Learning, Mentor Circle, Adult-to-Student Relationship Mapping, student voice and the continuous review of Every Child Known.

Teaching, adult learning & visible evidence
Clarwyn’s leadership team is part of the 2026-27 Deeper Learning Alliance, guided by the Deeper Learning Institute, a project of the Harvard Graduate School of Education. The year-long work strengthens the Clarwyn Praxis from framework to teacher-ready practice.
The work connects the Praxis to planning, rehearsal, coaching, classroom practice, student work and evidence-based improvement.
Clarwyn owns and integrates the Graduate Profile, Core Curriculum, Praxis, Wisdom Compass, Mentor Circle, Every Child Known, Signature Programmes and evidence systems. The external relationships strengthen defined parts of that architecture; they do not replace it.
DISTINCT JOBS, SHARED PURPOSE
How the relationships connect
Making Caring Common
Strengthens caring-community learning, trusted-adult relationships, relationship mapping, student voice and the review of Every Child Known.
Deeper Learning Alliance
Strengthens the translation of the Praxis into teacher planning, professional learning, classroom practice and evidence of student growth.
Clarwyn ownership
Clarwyn retains ownership of its complete Graduate Profile-led Learning, Care & Community Architecture and remains accountable for implementation.
Evidence before claims
The value of each relationship is shown through stronger adult practice, learner experience, student work, relationship evidence and continuous review.
THE CLARWYN PROBLEM OF PRACTICE
From founding framework to teacher-ready practice
The focus
How might Clarwyn translate the Clarwyn Praxis – Understand, Question, Practise, Apply and Reflect – into a stage-sensitive operating system that preserves subject rigour, supports meaningful deeper learning, remains manageable for teachers and produces visible evidence of student growth?
The year-long design process
Clarwyn’s leadership team uses Alliance workshops, research, tools and peer consultancy to test planning formats, teacher learning, classroom routines, student evidence and the conditions required for reliable implementation.
The intended result
A clearer and more usable Praxis: common enough to protect quality, adaptable enough to respect age and subject, and visible enough for learners, teachers and families to explain.
FOR YOUR CHILD AND FAMILY
What should become visible
Clear goals, strong knowledge and disciplined practice
Meaningful questions, creativity and application
Known adults, student voice and credible routes to support
A school that reviews evidence and improves its systems
