Think and communicate clearly; ask and explore; try difficult work and seek help; show grace and respect.
Integrity, Craftsmanship, Mastery, Stewardship
Work honestly; revise carefully; practise and improve; care for people, spaces, resources and the wider world.
Caring Community Learning
Foundation: belonging and feelings language. Grades I-II: empathy, friendship, fairness and repair. Grades III-V: perspective, inclusion, peer belonging and responsibility. Grades VI-VII: identity, healthy relationships, ethical judgement, leadership and the common good.
What it is not
Not a behaviour points system, popularity award, personality label, separate board subject or promise of perfect conduct.

How the system works
Evidence in ordinary life
Honest source use, respectful disagreement, careful revision, fair contribution, repair after harm and care for shared tools are stronger evidence than slogans.
Adult expectations
Adults model the same language and are accountable for clarity, courtesy, integrity, craftsmanship and stewardship in teaching, feedback and relationships.
MCC integration
Selected Making Caring Common resources are mapped to the developmental sequence, staff learning and Mentor Circle rather than announced as an unexamined stand-alone curriculum.

Making Caring Common
In partnership with Making Caring Common, a project of the Harvard Graduate School of Education, through the Caring Schools Network.
Making Caring Common resources strengthen Caring Community Learning, Mentor Circle, Adult-to-Student Relationship Mapping, student voice and the continuous review of Every Child Known.
The partnership strengthens implementation of Clarwyn’s caring-community and relationship systems; it is not presented as certification or approval of Clarwyn’s complete proprietary architecture.
