STUDENTS, FAMILIES AND ADULTS LEARNING TOGETHER

A strong school culture is built through shared understanding, clear boundaries and reliable follow-through.

Clarwyn’s community architecture includes student voice, parent partnership, Parent Commons, teacher learning, leadership accountability and research-practice relationships. Community is not a marketing audience; it is part of the operating system.

Parent Partnership & Communication

Clarwyn’s parent partnership model combines orientation, regular communication, learning evidence, private support routes, goal-setting and review.

Clarwyn Parent Commons

Parent Commons moves family engagement from receiving information to understanding, practising and applying strong school-home habits.

Student Life & Daily Culture

Student life at Clarwyn is designed so friendships, values, leadership, service, houses, traditions, sport, arts and everyday conduct reinforce the Graduate Profile rather than operate as a separate calendar of events.

Houses, Leadership & Belonging

Clarwyn’s Houses—Apollo, Triton, Atlas and Orion—support wider identity, challenge, service, leadership, sport and healthy competition.

Service, Stewardship & Public Work

Clarwyn treats service and stewardship as learning and responsibility, not one-day charity or publicity.

Traditions, Events & Student Participation

Clarwyn’s founding traditions are designed to create belonging, values in action, student agency, public evidence of learning and durable institutional memory.

Founding Families

As Clarwyn grows, founding families become part of the school’s early story. Their participation helps establish trust, communication, routines, milestones and the habits that future batches will inherit.

Newsfeed

The Clarwyn Newsfeed will share approved updates on admissions, campus progress, learning spaces, events, student work and community milestones.

Calendar

The Clarwyn Calendar helps families follow campus tours, admissions milestones, orientations, parent meetings, school events, showcases and daily routines.

Press

The Press page will carry official press releases, announcements, media mentions and public updates from Clarwyn. Public communication is shared carefully so families receive accurate, approved information.
WHAT THIS MEANS IN PRACTICE

Four clear commitments

Students

Learners participate, seek help, explain evidence, contribute to improvement and take age-appropriate responsibility.

Families

Parents receive clear communication, understand how learning and care work, support without taking over and know the route for private concerns.

Educators

Adults are selected, inducted, coached, moderated and expected to model the same values and quality standards.

Partners

External relationships are translated into defined practice and reviewed for effect rather than displayed as badges alone.

RESEARCH & PRACTICE PARTNERSHIP

Making Caring Common

In partnership with Making Caring Common, a project of the Harvard Graduate School of Education, through the Caring Schools Network.

Making Caring Common resources strengthen Caring Community Learning, Mentor Circle, Adult-to-Student Relationship Mapping, student voice and the continuous review of Every Child Known.

The partnership strengthens implementation of Clarwyn’s caring-community and relationship systems; it is not presented as certification or approval of Clarwyn’s complete proprietary architecture.

THE COMPLETE EXPLANATION

How the system works

Shared language
Graduate Profile, Praxis, Compass, Mentor Circle, Every Child Known and portfolio evidence create a common conversation across school and home.

Professional boundaries
Family partnership does not make parents informal curriculum managers; mentoring does not become therapy; public communication does not expose private data.

Continuous improvement
Feedback is acknowledged, routed, acted upon and reviewed with appropriate transparency.

FOR YOUR CHILD AND FAMILY

What should become visible
